My wife and I recently bought a small custom-built home with everything we wanted in a beautiful little retirement community.
Then we started having grandchildren. What a blessing. But when we started full-time babysitting our nice little home proved to be a little too small. Finding a home that fit our needs was a difficult task because it is hard to improve on a custom-built home. But Christel did it. She patiently showed us many very nice homes but like I said, once you build a custom home you can't go backwards to something else. The only way to go is to go forward. After about two years of looking, we finally found the house of our dreams and it was an upgrade. We thought we had found a home that we wanted to buy on a couple of occasions but Christel's experience pointed out to us a few things, like dual pane windows with evidence of condensation, that would have to be replaced, or foundation problems, that we would have missed on our own. Christel was never put off by our exacting requirements. She just kept looking for us. When we finally found the home that met our needs Christel leaped into action. She took care of all the transactions. She provided good advice on listing our old home and got us into our new home hassle free and at a great price. She took a difficult situation (selling deceased family house) and made it easy. City wanted to buy the property. They offered a fair price but she took the time to research/meet and deal directly with the city which resulted in 75K more!
